These Terms of Service outline the rules, responsibilities, and conditions for using our website and services. By accessing or working with RC Flooring and Granite, you agree to the terms outlined on this page.

Welcome to RC Flooring and Granite. These Terms and Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (Rcflooringtx.com) and the purchase of our flooring products and installation services. By requesting an estimate, signing a contract, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

RC Flooring and Granite provides professional flooring sales and installation, including carpet, hardwood, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), and laminate. We specialize in residential projects, multifamily units, and apartment management services within the DFW area.

2. Estimates and Pricing

  • Free Estimates: We provide complimentary in-person estimates and mobile showroom visits.
  • Wholesale Pricing: As we source materials at wholesale prices, our quotes are valid for 30 days due to fluctuations in material costs from suppliers (Shaw, Mohawk, Dreamweaver, etc.).
  • Accuracy: Estimates are based on visible areas. If unforeseen issues are discovered after the removal of old flooring (e.g., damaged subfloors), additional charges may apply. We will notify you before proceeding with extra work.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: We accept cash, credit cards, and financing through Hearth.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): For standard projects, final payment is due immediately upon completion of the installation.
  • Financing: If using Hearth, all terms and credit agreements are between the customer and the third-party lender. RC Flooring and Granite is not responsible for financing approvals or interest rates.

4. Installation and Scheduling

  • Next-Day Installation: We offer next-day installation for in-stock materials, subject to availability and schedule openings.
  • Customer Responsibilities: Unless otherwise specified in your contract, customers are responsible for clearing the work area of small items, breakables, and electronics.
  • Standard Add-ons: Services such as furniture moving and old carpet disposal are available for an additional fee and must be included in the signed scope of work.

5. 18-Month Installation Warranty

We pride ourselves on quality workmanship. We offer an 18-Month Installation Warranty, which is six months longer than the industry standard.

  • Coverage: This warranty covers defects in the installation (e.g., loose seams, buckling, or improper fastening).
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by flooding, customer negligence, subfloor moisture issues not disclosed at the time of install, or normal wear and tear.
  • Claims: In the event of a dispute, a third-party inspector may be utilized to determine if the issue is a product defect or an installation fault.

6. Product Warranties

Individual flooring products (carpet, wood, LVT) are covered by the specific manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., Shaw, Mohawk). RC Flooring and Granite does not personally warrant the material itself but will assist you in the claim process with the manufacturer if a defect is found.

7. Limitation of Liability

RC Flooring and Granite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or products. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service provided.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, TX.
